With the current ongoing pandemic and the spring semester coming to an end, we are now at home thinking about what comes next. Checking the news and social media for daily updates has us anxious about when life will go back to normal, but it's important to remember to take care of ourselves in times of isolation and discomfort. Boosting your mood in quarantine can come from even the smaller things, like baking. According to a study published in The Journal of Happiness Studies, it was found that those who engaged in activities such as cooking and baking were linked to positive subjective well-being and mood repair.
